Brown's Jersey Retired at Clyde-Savannah

  • Text size: + -

Clyde-Savannah legend "Downtown" Terry Brown returned home tonight for a jersey retirement in his honor.

Brown played at Clyde from 1982 to 1986 and scored 2,360 points, the first player to reach that mark.

Brown went on to play Division I college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks.

"It feels great. You know, the last time I've been home is 15 years ago. That's when they inducted me into the Hall of Fame but this is, you know, special to come back and have my jersey retired, so, feels great," Brown said.
