On Monday, the ACC officially welcomed Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame, raising the number of schools in the league to 15.
The Orange and Panthers will participate in all sports while Notre Dame was added in all sports except football and hockey.
Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim was in New York City for the introductory press conference.
"To join this league, the tradition of this league and bringing the schools in that you're familiar with, so it's not all new. We're familiar with many of the teams in this league and the teams that were in the ACC, we've played against over the years. I think we're forming the best basketball conference ever formed. It will be a great challenge and we're looking forward to it," he said.
As part of the celebration, several ACC representatives were at the New York Stock exchange for the closing bell ceremony.
