Week one of voluntary offseason conditioning in the books for the Bills. Along with lifting and running drills, the players are getting to know the new coaching staff and new systems on both sides of the ball.
CJ Spiller is coming off a career year. The running back rushed for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his NFL career and made the Pro Bowl as an alternate.
Now Spiller and the rest of the offense will be led by Nathaniel Hackett. His position is guided by former NFL running back Tyrone Wheatley
"I had a chance to sit down with Coach (Nathaniel) Hackett and he is very excited. He is a guy that is going to bring positive energy to the offensive unit. Of course, I had a great conversation with Coach (Tyrone) Wheatley. He is a guy that has played this position and knows what we go through. It is definitely fun when you have guys that actually played your position and know what you are going through professionally and personally," Spiller said.
The Bills are back at it next Monday through Thursday.
