Police arrested an 18-year-old after they say he posted a racist video on YouTube.
Nicholas Robare is charged with second degree aggravated harassment.
Police say the video shows a sweatshirt burning and includes racial slurs and verbal threats directed at an unidentified person.
Greece police were tipped off about the video at the beginning of the month. Officers say while posting the video to YouTube is not a crime, once the video was posted to a person's Facebook wall, that made it a threat.
"We've interviewed everyone on the video. The crime and the charge of aggravated harassment in the second degree involves the sending of the video from the suspect to the victim, so it meets the statute of threatening someone by electronic means," said Captain Patrick Phelan, Greece Police Department.
Police say the other two people heard in the video won't be charged.
Robare is scheduled to reappear in court January 3rd. If he's convicted of the misdemeanor, he faces up to a year in jail.
